What WVE is
Since 2019, WVE has run campaigns for global record labels, professional sports teams, consumer brands, esports organizations and entertainment companies. The work spans content creation, paid media, UI/UX, brand strategy and full-service production across photo, video, apps and charting podcasts, from social campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube through to digital product builds.
The idea WVE is built on
The traditional agency model is built around production. A brief comes in, a small number of hero assets go out, media gets bought against them, and a report arrives six weeks later explaining what happened.
WVE is built around amplification instead. The premise is that attention in culture is won by being early, being everywhere, and being able to tell within hours which piece of content is actually working, then putting money behind that one rather than the one that tested well in a meeting.
That changes the order of operations:
Trend discovery
Campaigns start from what is already moving, not from a creative idea in isolation. Identifying the trend, sound, format or conversation early is what makes the rest of the engine cheap to run.
Content multiplication
A single asset becomes roughly fifty platform-native variations. This matters because platform algorithms reward volume and variation far more than they reward polish. Fifty cuts of one idea will outperform one perfect cut almost every time.
Creator network distribution
Content is seeded through a creator network spanning 140+ niches, including meme pages and community accounts that reach audiences no brand handle can reach directly.
Podcast and long-form charting
Long-form has its own growth mechanics. WVE runs podcast charting and audience growth alongside short-form distribution rather than treating it as a separate discipline.
Media buying against live signal
Paid media is deployed behind content that has already demonstrated organic traction, and optimized while campaigns are live. Across campaigns this has produced an average paid-media return on ad spend of 18.6×.
Measurement
WVE runs its own measurement platform, Centryl, so that performance data and optimization decisions live in the same place rather than being reconstructed after the fact.
The numbers behind the work
These are the figures WVE publishes, with what each one counts. They are cumulative totals across every campaign WVE has run, not the result of a single campaign or a single year.
- 25+ billion accounts reached
- Accounts served WVE content across social platforms, counted cumulatively across every campaign WVE has run to date.
- 850+ billion impressions
- Total impressions across organic social and paid media, cumulative to date. An impression is one piece of content served once, so a single account contributes many impressions over a campaign.
- 560+ billion social views
- Views of social content produced or distributed by WVE, cumulative to date. Views are a subset of impressions: an impression is content served, a view is content actually watched.
- 18.6× average paid-media ROAS
- Revenue returned per unit of paid media spend, blended across paid campaigns.
- 140+ creator niches
- Distinct audience categories covered by the creator and community network WVE distributes through.
Music and artists
Music is where WVE started and it remains the deepest part of the business. The roster spans 330+ artists, from independent acts to major-label and Grammy-recognized talent.
- 330+ artists supported
- 211 Billboard Hot 100 entries
- 220+ billion total plays
- Multiple Grammy nominations across the roster
Plays of recorded music by artists WVE has supported, across streaming platforms. This counts a different thing from social views. A play is a track being streamed, while a view is a piece of social content being watched, so the two figures are not comparable and are not added together.
The work combines creative production with performance data, on release weeks and on catalog. More detail on how that works is on the music and artist services page.
